Okay so I'm pretty sure it would work but for me to get 16 GBs of ram as 1, 4x4 GB pack costs me 75 quid but if I got 2 packs of the exactly the same 2x4 GB ram sticks which is cheaper than the 4x4 GB ram would they still work in the same way as the 4x4 pack.
