Hello Guys!

Im experiencing high temperatures with my i7 6700k.
I tryed a lot of thing to resolve this problem but no results.

CPU are hitting 90ºC!!!
Tested with OCCT

My config:
Asus Z170 AR
I7 6700k (stock, not OC)
Thermaltake water 2.0 performer (push 'n pull)
8GB DDR4 2400mhz HyperX Savage
GTX 980 PNY
PSU Corsair VS650
Thermal Paste Artic Silver 5 / Xigmatec G4512

FANS RPM:
Push 'n pull fans(radiator): 2100RPM
Case fan (intake): 1100rpm
pump fan: 1500rpm

Things i tryed:
1- Replaced thermal paste (Xigmatec)
2- New thermal Paste (artic silver 5)
3- Clean radiator (dust)
4- New case fan (intake cool air)
5- fixed voltage at bios (1.200 x 40 multiplier)
6- Remounted several times AIO cooler

here some pics with more info:

Help please =)

Its likely your cooler has pooped itself. If your hitting 90C and have reseated your cooler mount and reapplied the paste with no changes then I suggest a new cooler. The Noctua is a nice cooler if you go for air otherwise another AIO from Corsair keeps mine nice and cool.

Sounds like you either received a bad water cooler or bad TIM. Do you have an aftermarket air cooler on hand that you can swap in?

This cooler is almost 3 years old, i was using with my old FX 8320 without problem.

What is "Bad TIM"? haha

i dont have other intel cooler, only AMD STOCK one...

i checked thermal paste again and when remove the water block i could feel some bad smell coming from thermal paste. this is normal? didnt notice this with Xigmatec

Thermal Interface Material, material that conducts heat. Thermal paste is considered TIM as well as the solder between the IHS and the CPU die. Your chip could have a bad solder.

Also, could just be a bum liquid cooler.

Hello guys!

im back here with new!

new cooler installed, corsair H80i GT and the temp are amazing!

idle running at 24ºC ~ 29ºC
OCCT 10min 100% Load running at 45ºC ~ 50ºC (core temp) and CPUTIN sensor at 37ºC

fucking amazing lol

well.. the problem was my 3years old TT water 2.0 performer, but im happy with this results now.
