Hi! I have a question guys, can higher voltage increases lower the CPU performance? It seems like I am getting better performance out my I5 2500k at 4.4ghz 1.35 volts than at 4.5ghz with 1.36 volts? Is this a thing or am I doing something wrong? My cooler is a Hyper 212 EVO and my MOBO is an ASUS P8P67. Thanks!

Yeah you are likely hitting thermal throttling issues. The EVO 212 is an entry level enthusiast air cooler. You need to get a dual-fan CPU cooler like my Noctua NH-D14 (or the newer D15) or go with a closed loop water cooler like Corsair's H100/110 series if you want to get above 4.4GHz successfully.

My temps were a bit high under 100% load, at 4.5 I'm talking about reaching 85 degrees celcius while with 4.4 it reaches 72 ish
