My old GTX 650ti boost gave up after years of service
I'm planning to buy a new GPU GTX 960 4gb version
I'm worried about my processor since it's very old but I don't have any problem playing BF4 or any tripleA games on it before just 35+ fps is good enough for me.

so I'm asking you guys will my processor bottleneck?
also my slot is 2.0, tell me guys if there will be any performance issue
thanks in advance

Solution
The CPU won't bottleneck the GPU as such, however it will act as a potential bottleneck to the system in certain games, like GTA 5, Dragon Age Inquisition, Arma 3 etc.

Mostly there should be no problem running most titles on medium to high settings with a good return in FPS

2.0 is not a massive factor, as not one GPU made to date for consumer/gaming purposes (that I'm aware of) has saturated it... So, you're good there.

Like Migalis stated, CPU fer the most part is a non-issue as the GPU does most of the work except in certain titles.
