I would like to get a newer Graphics processor for a XFX 680i LT SLI motherboard. I need a minimum of nvidia Geforce GTS 450 or better up to a nvidia Geforce GTX 750 can you please tell me if the GTS 450 or any of the GTX series are compatible or supported by this mother board ?

Solution
Yep you will be just fine as newer Graphics Cards are backwards compatible with PCIe 2.0. Don't know about the new Pascal GPUs coming out but just about any GPU sold right now should work.

P.S. Don't get the GTS 450 it is junk. I had one of these and it was always over heating and had bad FPS. I would get a GTX 460 if you have to get one from that era at that price range.

Missed this. Much better card. If you can swing it I would go with the GTX 660ti.

but I would not spend much more than $120 on it. Some of these eBayers are insane thinking they can get like new prices.
