When I boot my pc, it goes through a couple cycles, powering up then powering down, without the display ever coming on. Then it hangs with the fans and everything powered. I can get it to POST if I clear cmos. It comes up with the warning about needing to restore settings, but If I go into the BIOS and save/restart, it goes through the same process. I can manage to get it into Windows if I boot from within bios and don't save the settings. Everything works just fine once I get past the odd post behavior.

Any clues what might be causing this?

make sure the mb has the newest bios file. in the bios make sure the mb set to standard mode. if it set to performance mode the ram to cpu time is off. ALSO under ai tab make sure xmp profile is on and the mb reading the ram speed right. use cpu-z to check the ram speed and if the mb reading the ram right.

I'm on the newest bios version. CPU-Z shows my RAM running at stock speed.

Whoops, thought I put my specs in the op.

Corsair 750TX
EVGA GTX 750 Ti
i7-2600k
G.Skill Sniper 16GB 1866

Also, if I power the pc off, it immediately tries to boot back up but does the cycling thing.

So I figured out the booting issue. I must have switched the TPU switch on the board while adjusting cables.

Thanks for the replies!

Now I just have to figure out how to get the overclocking features on my board!
