I'm a first time builder and I could use some advice. My main objective here is too build the best possible gaming PC to run games like the Total War series, Planetside 2 and eventually when Star Citizen comes out. My Xbox one is starting to bore me cause they don't have a very good variety of games to play like the PC does. You could say that I am a gamer enthusiast. So here I am looking for advice for my first gaming PC cause its a little scary. I think I got a pretty good idea on what I want and did some research. The thing I bought was my tower right now, so any advice or tips on anything else would be awesome. Here are the specs that I put together:

Corsair Graphie Series 780T
Intel i5 6600k
ASRock Z170 Gaming k6
Geforce GTX 960/970/980
Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB
Seagate Barracuda 3.5 Internal Hard Drive 3TB or Samsung EVO 850
Corsair CX850 ATX Power

Any help or advice would be awesome. If you think that if I need to upgrade or downgrade or if this will not work, feel free too tell me. Thank you in advance.

Ok Here you go. This is a quiet high quality build. You could add overclocking for another $100 if you want but it's seriously not needed. I added a few things that aren't completely necessary like the cpu cooler, the 4 case fans, and the bluray disc drive. You can remove them if you want to save some money.

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 4 series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($64.99 @ Newegg)...

Ok I'll assume it's 1080p, and since you're likely stuck playing @ 60hz, I see no reason to get anything stronger than a GTX970. Overclocking would be pretty much useless to you too. That's all good news though since you won't need to spend anywhere near $1500

If you just REALLY want to spend $1500, this is what you could get. I could only recommend these changes if you plan on getting a 1440p or 120hz 1080p gaming monitor soon.

I took the $1200 build above and added a very good 120hz 1080p monitor. It would be much better than using your tv.

By the way, the two 120mm fans are for the bottom of the case and the two 140mm fans are for the top. The case comes with two front fans and one rear. That's a lot of fans. You could drop the two bottom ones but I really recommend using at least one in the top.
