Thanks for the replies, guys, but nothing seems to work. . . VLC Media Player for Windows CE is only for x86, and my PC has a MIPS CPU, and on Microsofts website there's no download page.
well looks like that c-net down load would be the only way to go ?
the vlc is dead they must see no point or future in any of that ?
thing is why Microsoft has no support for there own product ? do they feel it just not worth it as well ?? to me that's the oddest part of it all - they talk about it and all but no wat to access it or get it installed ?? hmmmm......

Ever since Pocket PC 2002, MS only supported the ARM processors. MIPS was dropped. I doubt that anyone had developed a DVD player to run on a MIPPS cpu. All focus was on the ARM CPUs from Intel.

We're talking about Windows CE, not Pocket PC. Windows CE had MIPS support until CE6R2, but that'S irrelevant. Simply, Windows CE is not Pocket PC is not WIndows Mobile
