You will be fine. Dual Channel allows faster memory movements throughout a channel. If you have 4 sticks of the same exact RAM, you really don't need to worry about dual channel. No matter what configuration you have, the sticks are the same. You'll always end up with a dual channel configuration. But that does not apply if you were using 4 sticks from different brands and sizes. 16 vs 32... I know people who say 32 is too much because you'll rarely be using more than 75% of it... But I am almost positive it does not affect performance. 16 would be a reasonable amount for your typical gamer. But in your case, 32 is fine. For what you plan on doing, 16 is a MUST, and 32 is even better.
