Hello,
I got this Asrock motherboard. P43DE3, and it should support 4GB sticks, but it doesn't. I have a 2GB stick and it botts up normally. When I put 4GB stick post says 3long bips. Searched for it, it means NO MEMORY. I have 2x4GB kit, G.skill. It's same freq and latency as 2GB stick. I have also tried another kit, 2x4GB Kingston, also nothing. G.Skill works on another board. I tried to plug just one stick in all 4 slots. And after I try for about 3 time in different slots pc starts rebooting all time but without POST. It just keeps rebooting. When I plug it from electricity after some time it beeps again or I need to clear CMOS. Tried to load defults on bios. Asked Asrock support 7days ago, no repply whatsoever.
BIOS is up to date, latest bios according to Asrock for this motherboard is P1.50 and it installed.
Also I must say that I have installed this motherboard alone, and one day something weird occured, I used 2GB stick, turned pc off and when I got back home my keyboard lighting was on. When I turned switch on PSU to 0 it went out.
