New Build, trouble selecting cpu cooler and graphics card

Hello All,

I started a new build, and so far purchased the following pieces(omitting HHD and SDD im using from my old build)

=================================================

CPU: Intel I5-6600
Mobo: ASRock FATAL1TY Z170 GAMING-ITX/AC
RAM: Avexir Blitz1.1 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2800
Power: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 P2 80+ PLATINUM
Case: Lian Li PC-Q10WX

==================================================

This is a mini-itx build, and my case is a littler smaller than many, it also has a fully clear side panel, so im looking to pimp things out aesthetically a bit.

I'm going for red/black kind of theme and want some fancy lighting. Which is why i sacrificed a little performance per/dollar for the RAM i selected. I need some help selecting a CPU cooler and graphics card though, and maybe some recommendations for accent lighting.

CPU Cooler:
=============================

Water
=========

I'm not overclocking, so really i'm going more for aesthetics, and quiet. I'm not experienced with custom water cooling, and not sure i want to tackle it, but am open to it, sealed coolers or air coolers just sound easier. My case can mount double coolers on the outside, but i'd rather try and fit a single on the inside.

The cooler that won my heart aesthetically was this one by DeepCool:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835856023&cm_re=deepcool_cpu_cooler-_-35-856-023-_-Product

It is everything i want as far as looks, red, clear tubes, and has a pulsating red led heartbeat. But the reviews, and many people saying the pump stops working and fries their PC is scaring me away.

The only other option i found that has the clear tubes, red, and led lights is:

RAIJINTEK TRITON 140-RED

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA66Z3HC5074&cm_re=RAIJINTEK_TRITON_120_RED-_-9SIA66Z3HC5074-_-Product

But being 140m fan, id have to mount it on the back of case, instead of the top, but i think that is ok. I don't see any reviews for this though on newegg, so not sure about quality.

If im missing a cool red led sealed cooler let me know.

AIR
=========

The problem i'm having here is size. I think my airflow needs to travel horizontally via the design of my case(feel free to comment if im wrong). But all the horizontal flow ones are too big i found i like. Specification say on my case, max cooler height is 140mm.

Be Quiet Dark Rock - no red led, but quality and looks good....too big
MasterAir Maker 8 - red leds, looks awesome...too big :(
V8 GTS - red leds, looks awesome...too big :(

GPU
=========================================

What i'm looking for:

RED/BLACK themed
Looks cool
At least 4 monitor, prefer many DP outputs
Light gaming, mostly just working with lots of programs at once on many monitors

I found this one, and it is red, although doesn't look super cool. But functionally seems like all i need.

Lighting
=====================================

Then i think i just need to get some lighting kits, any recommendations for lighting ideas?

CPU cooler: just saw came across the swiftech aios...they seem to be pretty good coolers, they have black tubes, not clear ones, but they have rgb led lighting on the resevoir, so that could add to aesthetics. They also have a light on the cpu heatsink as well. The h140-x is the single fan model, its a 140mm though, so make sure it'll fit in your case before you get it.

As far as your case goes, you really are severely limiting yourself in the upgrade-ability aspect of things with that case. I might suggest a phanteks enthoo evolve itx if you don't have your heart set on the lian-li case. The evolv itx also has a window, and a psu shroud, so cable management is much easier, you also have room to fit up to a 280mm radiator in the top of...

Also, it's cheaper. Just a thought.

As far as graphics cards go, just about anything from msi is going to be red and black. I don't really know what your budget is, so I can't recommend a specific card from them. For the price of that 7750 that you have linked though, you could buy an r9 280x if you shop around. Don't be put off buy the number of physical ports on the back of the card, you can always buy a display port hub and connect more displays that way.

A graphics card is the one thing that I would definitely not recommend cheaping out on. It will almost always be the bottleneck of your system, and buying a better graphics card is almost always equate to much better performance. Frankly I think that you will be very disappointed in a 7750. If you're building this thing to look aesthetically pleasing, you don't want to make a PC that looks super badass, but then has to run all AAA titles at medium or low settings. Especially if you're dropping the kind of cash you are into a system.

Thanks man, funny thing you mentioned the Phanteks Enthoo Case. Those were the two i was juggling, and i ended up doing the Lian Li because it was brushed aluminium, and smaller.

But I've been kind of regretting my decision since :(

Except i already have the case. It came in the mail today. I haven't put it together yet, so i guess it's not too late.

The phanteks is aluminum too, just not brushed. Its really up to you on if you want to send it back or not. The phanteks is considerably more functional
but the lian li looks a little better.

Im going to buy the atx version, and put some LEDs behind the side edges of the front panel

A side note, apparently swiftech recently updated their AIO coolers, the new ones come with a dies and clear tubing so you can die the liquid whatever color you want
