CPU Amd 9590
GPU R9 390x Strix
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 32gb 2133
Motherboard: Crosshair Formula Z
PSU Corsair RM 1000
Sound: Sound Blaster Z
HDD: 2000gb and 4000gb WD Black

Im getting totally random freezes that require restart with he case button after working fine for just over a year. No errors, no messages, totally random too. Sometimes under load, some times idle. It can do a 2hr stress test with fur mark or prime 95 then freeze watching a movie for half hour or a hour of light gaming. Its happened a few times in the bios logo screen after restarting after a freeze. Temps are all ok GPU never higher than 70, CPU never higher than 56. I have already replaced the motherboard and graphics card in the last month, formatted and re installed windows 10 twice. Run a few mem tests all ok, tried 8g of vengeance ram from my old rig still froze up multiple times. Sometimes it will only lock up once a day sometimes 3 or 4 times in 2 hours. I followed every lead to its conclusion and still it keeps freezing. The only one i haven't followed up on yet is maybe one or two times i had 1.65v warning from AI Suite but it wasn't right before or after any freezes and i don't think AI suite is all that reliable.

I could really use some help with this because its beyond me.

It sounds to me that your computer is POST-ing successfully, but as soon as the BIOS hands control over to the OS, it freezes. It wouldn't hurt to look into whocrashed ;)

Just to be sure it's not a motherboard issue, plug in your motherboard speaker and listen for the beeps.

I haven't overclocked a god damn thing, do you think i that's the problem? And how do i go about turning it down? im super lazy when it comes to bios setups i always use optimized defaults. I know it overclocks it self from 4.7 to 5ghz but other than that i haven't done anything other than setting the ram speed and disabling on board sound.

Also i thought 1.65v was my RAM?

Hmm, I'm running out of possible solutions :/

The only other thing I could think of is that your PSU is not up to par (but the RM series happens to be one of the best...)

Try this power supply calculator and see if you're above or close to 1000W
http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator

Maybe you PSU is defective and it can't really handle 1000W :/
If this doesn't help, hopefully someone else can help on this forum.

Ok i looked on the bios and the cpu is drawing 1.4v the ramp in drawing 1.66v. there doesnt seem to be any overclocking turned on either.

My PSU is what i was thinking of RMA'ing next think that might be it?
