Well, if you do have that cooler that you sent the picture of, watching youtube on your machine and getting those temperatures should be around what you're expecting, you're fine.

However, having a 6700K, I'd advise you to spend 30$ on a Hyper 212 EVO, as that cooler will keep it cooler under load and will make sure your CPU doesn't throttle down due to not being able to take the heat.

For reference:

Throttling down means that your CPU will slow it's clock speed down if high temperatures are reached, those small coolers can easily be overwhelmed with: Rendering, intensive gaming, high demanded tasks, virtualization... etc.

You have to check for temperatures while stressing the CPU because those are what you should be concerned about.

Now about the idle temperatures, if you're getting those temperatures while in the desktop, not doing anything? Those aren't bad if you're using stock cooling, if you're using a aftermarket cooler, then that may be an issue.

Tell us more about the sort of cooling you got going on.

For reference:

This is an intel stock cooler

Assuming your case supports it, you're golden with that cooler.

Your cooler is maybe a little small for that CPU but the temps are ok. You should probably try a stress test and see what it gets up to if you are worried about it. On the other hand the one you are considering is maybe a little excessive unless you plan to overclock. I just use the hyper 212 evo on my 6700K at stock speeds and it is perfectly fine. I already had the cooler though from an older build. Of course if you want that cooler it's not like it'll make your CPU run too cold :)

Yeah that should be good enough.

Lucky! I never actually won anything xD
