I just upgraded from 2 GTX 660's running in SLI to an R9 390, and i launched into a game, temps are ok and seemingly everything is going alright, but after about 4 seconds, my screen goes black, and my computer restarts as if nothing happened, no error message or anything. I would like some suggestions on how i can fix this

Specs:
16GB 1600mhz RAM
Intel core i7 3930k
R9 390x Asus Strix
850w PSU

Yes, although i did install the AMD drivers first, however all Nvidia drivers have been removed from my system. My fans and temperatures are running fine and it shuts off, i found that when i lower the graphics settings drastically that my computer does not crash.

I actually figured out the problem to fixing it, I didn't have enough power cables running from the PSU, once i added another PCIe cable from the PSU, and plugged it into the 6 pronged port it worked like a charm:) , anyone else having this issue send me a pm and ill do my best to help.

Well you definitely need all the power cords that the card needs plugged in LOL, those things are not there for looks.

well i plugged it into both of them, but it had an extender that i was plugging into the other connector, when i brought in a second cable the issue fixed itself as it had sufficient power.
