My motherboard might've just died

My computer have been acting wierd lately meaning that it would randomly just freeze up for 10 seconds, my games would take ages to load (5-10 min) when the pc had been on for a while, and it would simply turn itself off whenever it felt like it.

However this last time just now it didnt go so well for me after attempting to boot it again.

So this last time it turned off, it restarted by itself (so reboot, not shutdown) however there was no BIOS screen any longer. So I tried holding the power button to shut it down, but the only way to shut it down was removing the power cord. So I tried turning it back on, yet still no BIOS screen, no sounds, nothing. Only the fans in my computer is running.

So I thougth I'd try to reset the motherboard, so I pulled out the battery to reset the settings, and put it back in, still nothing.

At this point I figured I might as well take out the RAM sticks to check for my post bios BEEPs, though nothing. All silent, with the fans running.

So what do you guys think is going on? Is it my motherboard thats broken, my cpu or my PSU?

Specs:
CPU: fx-8350 4ghz
GPU: gtx 970
RAM: 8gb hyperx fury (2x)
PSU: Corsair TX 650W PSU
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3

Thanks alot for your help guys.

EDIT (in bold): wrong psu and forgot mobo

If your fans are spinning it's not the PSU that is shutting down. The BIOS needs both the CPU and RAM to operate. If there are any LEDs on the moboand they are not lit it is most likely the mobo but there's really no easy way to tell except by replacing them (CPU & mobo) one at a time and trying it. You might take it to a shop. They'll have tools to isolate the problem. You didn't mention any blue screens when it was still running so I'm guessing the mobo. Of course it could be both since you kept running it after it started showing problems.

But shouldnt the mobo make BEEPS if the CPU is non functional? I know it made beeps in the past if I were to remove the ram sticks.

CPU ERROR for my mobo is supposed to be 6 short beeps, however my mobo is silent as the grave.

Edit: Yep, mobo confirmed dead.
