I just removed my gtx 970 from my system (selling it) and i currently don't have a gpu installed anymore. I have no idea how to get my system to use my amd a8 6600k's built in gpu. Can someone please help me :(

Solution
you need drivers. windows desktop enviroment will most likely work fine with the ones windows supplies but any games will want better stuff. go to amd.com and look for them.

okay, i'll try that

It should POST without drivers. Drivers only relate to Windows, not the post screen or BIOS. And when a GPU does not match the drivers, it either uses Windows default graphic drivers or it will just be really low resolution. It should always work, especially in safe mode.
