Hello, I have 2 HP EliteDesk 800 G1DM Mini Comps that we use to run lighting software. They are runnuing Windows 7 Pro and are Intel i 7 2.20GHZ
I was told that the graphics cards were not upto specs.
What would be a good replacement?
They are only used for running software and sometimes downloading zip files that contain showfiles and for making bitmap files with paint.

Solution
From what you have supplied, I would suggest that the HD4600 graphics is more than up to the task.
The only thing that it does not have, according to the requirements, is dedicated memory, in that it shares memory with system memory.

I would be inclined to use it as is and only pop in discrete graphics if the performance is not up to scratch.
Is the software you are running graphics intensive (lots of 3D effects shown on screen, that kind of thing) or is the software just there to talk to the lighting hardware?
From your description above it does not sound like you need any great graphics hardware, in which case the Intel graphics is perfectly fine.
What are the requirements for the software that you run?

and...

Vertex Shader Version at least 3.0
Pixel Shader Version at least 3.0

i used it for a year andwas fine , then when there was a latency issue with the encoders that started with another computer and eventually moved to mine the company pointed this out. to resolve the latency issue i reloaded software deleted files and system restored on all related computers and is fine again,. Perhaps they were grasping at straws and blamed my graphics as a distraction?
