Between WD and Seagate which one you will choose for a 1TB drive ?

Solution
I've always felt WD was more reliable- Seagate had a lot of drive incidents a while back. Also my oldest hard drive I still have, a WD 320GB that is probably 10 years old, is also the only one without any bad sectors still. So I personally like WD. Hitatchi is okay, and HGST has a reputation for being extremely reliable.

I think in general, WD is more reliable.
Here are one set of statistics I found, but it does not include your particular 1tb drives:

You might want to read this report on the WD rainbow to find the most appropriate drive for your use:

In the past, I was very pro Seagate. However the last couple generations of drives have higher than normal failure rates. I've since switched to WD. I like the Black series, but if you don't need speed and just storage, the Blue or even the Green series are good.
