Budget Range: If upgrades I'd prefer to get under $200 which is a LOT to ask for but I can budge towards $300. $500 for prebuilt if it tops this system, $600 for homebuilt

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming

Parts to Upgrade: Atleast the Power Supply and GPU

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: No preference.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Colorado Springs, Colorado

Overclocking: Maybe, I have no experience

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Performance is beginning to lag behind AAA titles.

(PC SPECS)
AMD 6300 6 Core Processor 3.5GHz
ATI Raedon MSI 2048MB 7750
8GB of RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate
430W Power Supply
I run two monitors, one HDMI the other is DVI for work

Most of the above information is copy and pasted from Speccy/DirectX Diagnostic
I've had this computer for a bout 2 years now. It was bought of of CyberPower PC and I really have 3 questions for you guys and maybe you can recommend me which option is better.

I have very minimal experience with building any computers or modifying but an upgrade is due. So I'll outline what I feel are options and please tell me if I'm heading in the right direction.

1. Upgrade this current PC (I bought a huge case) which would require atleast a power supply upgrade to upgrade to any decent GPU to my knowledge. My questions is A. How difficult is this process and B. What are recommendations for it?

2. Scrap it all and build a new PC for around the same $600 that I bought this for but again this would be a hand in hand process for me

3. If you guys know of a computer for $500 that could beat this one out, I'd be willing to buy it for flat cash.

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer, thank you!

This build is very good overall besides the GPU. There is nothing wrong with the 380 except for the 2 gb of VRAM. You will find in current triple A titles that you need 4 gb of VRAM to support the higher quality textures. If you can squeeze a little more money into it I would suggest upgrading your GPU to the 960 4 gb or a 380x 4 gb. Hope this helps! :)
