Is DIMM Ram compatible with UDIMM Slot ?

hello everyone, i have a question... i have a pc with 4gb ram and want to upgrade to 8gb. but the cheapest UDIMM ram i could find is 50 dollars... i found that DIMM ram is alot cheaper, are they compatible... using DIMM ram in a UDIMM slot... Thank for your help

Yeah, if it's a DIMM like the Corsair you provided a link to, it would work.

UDIMM basically means unregistered/unbuffered DIMM (it is a form of DIMM commonly found in normal PCs), whereas RDIMM means registered DIMM (found on server motherboards).

What is the model of the DIMM stick you are looking at?

Thanks for the link i may get it... thanks but if i wanted dimm instead could i go with it ? i probably will go with that but it would be nice to know for more options
