2.5 inch 7200rpm HDD

Hey,

I am planning on making a HTPC/ living room gaming PC with all my spare PC parts from my old PC

I5 3570 and 7950 and in the node 202.

Unfortunately the node 202 can only fit 2.5 inch drives and high storage ssds are expensive.

Is there a 2.5 inch 7200rpm drive that would work for storage and game loading?

HGST, WD and Seagate all have 7200 2.5inch drives.

From what I am seeing currently on Newegg, under the listing of 2.5" 7.2K rpm HDD's, it would probably serve your interests better to run a SSD and use an external HDD or networked storage for additional space.

The Itx motherboard which I am using for my 3570 is an older motherboard which means that it doesn't support sata 6gbps which why I am asking

(Sorry for not mentioning that)

SATA III drives are backward compatible with SATA II host. You also won't see any performance decrease of the newer SATA HDD, as mechanical drives can't reach the bandwidth maximum of the SATA interface.
