I can't seem to install windows 7 on my new PC which I built, it has a Skylake 6500 processor, 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM and a Z170X Gaming 3 motherboard and 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD. I'm not sure if it means that drivers for my hardware need updating because they're factory new currently, the only thing I've updated is the BIOS because it let me do that in the BIOS with a USB, however I have the other drivers on a USB and they aren't being recognized. Also, I'm trying to install using a USB which is all correctly formatted and in a USB 2.0 port. Also I accidently cleared my SSD using CMD and now when I click Browse on the select driver menu that SSD no longer appears. Is there any way I can also fix that? Thanks for all the help guys, sorry I've got multiple problems.

Why is Win 7 asking for drivers anyway? If the BIOS is set to boot from the USB flash drive and it is the first drive in the boot order, it should just start loading the installation pgm into memory. Are you sure the BIOS isn't trying to boot from another device that isn't bootable?

Btw, you can ready your SSD for installation by using the "clean" command once in the Win installation pgm. Press F10 when at the "Install Windows 7" screen to open a command prompt. At the command prompt, type Diskpart, press Enter.
Type List Disk, press Enter.
Type Select Disk # (where # is the number your drive shows up as), press Enter.
Type Clean, press Enter.
Type Exit, press Enter.
Close the Command Prompt window.

Oh, that's the point where you get the message. There should be no drivers needed. Use the clean command like I outlined above to erase the SSD and make it ready for installation of an OS.

What do you mean by "I accidently cleared my SSD using CMD"? What command did you type?

The same thing you suggested, but anyway it still doesn't work, I heard that Skylake isn't very compatable with win7 so I'm currently getting win10 on my USB, also are win7 product keys still use able to activate win10?

...until June.

There's plenty of Skylake systems running Win7. That's not even an issue. But the SSD may be. Has it ever had an OS on it yet?

Make sure it's the same issue first. Some SSD's require separate drivers when you install windows. If that is the case for your SSD you must find the driver first and have it ready when you install.
