Firstly I'll describe the set up i have , it's quite basic and not complex

Router is a Billion 7800 wired router Which is connected Via it's Ewan port to a VDSL2 modem

Connected to the router There was 1 PC and 1 smart TV, The router is set up to allow each connected device to have it's own internal Static IP (No DHCP) Ports for the various applications on the PC have been manually forwarded and all has worked as intended for some time

More recently i have added a new PC (Additional PC) And allocated that with it's own static ip So i have 3 devices , All are able to connect to the internet ,

My problem started after i had installed my games on the new build PC although i can connect to the internet to browse the web ect, and have some connectivity in some games there's a problem with a non steam game, when i try and host, other players are unable to connect to my game, they can see it in the lobby but can't connect to it, The ports for the game have been forwarded in the router for the new internal IP given to the new PC but they are not being opened

I spent a lot of time testing various things and can say without doubt that it isnt the new PC or software on it, because i eliminated all that by simply changing the ip address of my older PC
And found by using the PF port forwarding tool that all the ports for the game that are directed to the new IP address are not open so the router isn't forwarding them properly , but it does forward ports fine for the older IP the 1st IP

My problem is why is this odd behaviour happening , ? and how can i fix it so i can forward the necessary ports on multiple pc's regardless of if the port numbers are replicated of not ?

If you have a DMZ (looks like it does) you could put that PC into the DMZ when you are gaming. You would want a software firewall though if you chose to do that. You most likely aren't forwarding all the correct gaming ports through your router. Do you know what range the games use so you are 100% sure you are forwarding them all?

Yes i know all the correct ports that are required for the game, as i have been hosting the game for several years without such issues , As i have said or tried to say that everything works fine with one PC or specifically 1 static ip address as it has zero to do with the device connected to the router It's the router that for some reason won't open the ports (same ports) that i forwarded to this recently added IP address , even though in the GUI they appear to be configured correctly , I thought billion was a good brand of product

DMZ isn't ideal , and neither is swapping IP address Thing is i shouldn't have to do either, it defeats the point of having a 4GB port router , it may as well be a 2port ,lol

And to add as a test yet another test, i have added the IP to the routers dmz and the ports are still closed

After doing some further reading around the www, it appears that you cannot forward the same ports to more than 1 internal ip /PC on your lan , which i get why, but i don't want the 2 devices to try and use those ports at the same time , So you would think that it would be possible for the incoming packets to be forwarded to which ever device was acting as host server for this game,
It's a pity that the game can't be configured to use different ports
