I'll be blunt, and straight to the point. I want a sub £250 monitor, IPS and preferably 144hz.

I'll be looking at a lot of photos and editing them which is why I want IPS.

I game a lot, so if I get 4k chances are I'll need G-SYNC. 1440p should be ok.

I have a 980ti and i7 4790k (4.7ghz). Pc is all water cooled.

I've found:
- for 4k K242HQ (GBP 200)
- for 1440p VX24AH (GBP 200)

HDMI or DP only please. (UK only <3)

I'd appreciate any comments on the monitors themselves, too.

It's not available in the UK as far as I can see... oh well

You won't find G-Sync it that price range, especially with the features you are asking for. Ever harder finding a G-Sync monitor that's also made for editing. You can either get a gaming monitor or a editing monitor. I think there is one gaming IPS monitor on the market but it's doesn't have all your required features and the colors are only so-so.
