Hey, basically I've ordered a new gaming PC that comes with a 120gb SSD and i've ordered a new OS with it. I'm going to copy over the files I want from my old hard drive via home network, but what I was wondering is after that is done how do I go about getting my old hard drive into my new PC. I want to delete all the files off it, do I just put it in the new PC and can format it that way? or will having the SSD and Hard Drive both with Window 7 mean I have to do something before?. Looked around a bit and ended up getting confused so any help would be appreciated and how would I go about formatting the hard drive?

Thanks.

You pretty much have the idea "do I just put it in the new PC and can format it that way?". Yes, that is pretty much it.

You can format after moving, just make sure your boot order in your BIOS is for the SSD (so not to attempt to boot the HDD).
