How to clean the PC with compressed air properly?

I want to clean my PC with compressed air but I've read a lot of things that say solvent abuse will instantly kill you and that breathing it in is dangerous. Would it be safe to use it inside the house or better off using it outside?

I use a tiny gentle vacuum for the inside of my computer, actually.

As for compressed air, I have used it on things like my keyboard. There should be instructions on the can. Follow those safety instructions closely if you are worried about any issues.
