CPU getting obscenely toasty in a brand new laptop; please help

Hi, I just picked up a Dell Inspiron 15 7559 for the convenience of being able to game at some buddies' houses; I ran some tests, and it gets stupidly hot, like in fallout 4 it the cpu got to 90c. I'm pretty sure that I was giving the vent enough space to allow airflow. Is it a bad unit? The specs are: i7 6700hq, GTX 960m with 4gb vram, 8gb ram. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I was able to verify that the fans are working and that they seem to be nice and snug. Thank you for answering so quickly after I had just posted :)
