Here we go again...Power on but no boot

about a month ago or so, I posted a problem with my computer powering on but no display, no boot, and no LED debug code lights at all. I took the computer apart and tested it outside the case, and it worked fine. I then put it back together and eventually got it to work inside the case for the last month or so. Then 2 times something caused a circuit breaker to trip. The first time the computer came back on no problem, this second time, it wont boot again although it still does power on. I don't know what caused the breaker to trip.
I did find this on the net, and although it is for an ASRock board, it describes my problem perfectly. I was wondering if anyone with an MSI board has problems like this, and what anyone would recommend doing at this point. Thank you.

(sorry, brain fart, LINK: https://m.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/2jrt1b/psarequest_possible_reoccurring_problem_with_the/)

I should mention that we had a space heater/fake fireplace running at the same time both times, and I have read that they take a lot of wattage. I'm thinking that the combination of the 2 overloaded the circuit, but the no boot problem remains.

Solution

Honestly if you want to fix it, find a buddy or someone else you know with a similar system, and swap out parts one by one to see what the problem is. This kind of issue could be thousands of things, so research is unlikely to help you to solve it quickly or effectively. I hope it gets better man ;l

Alright, I got it working, I'm assuming temporarily, by turning it on and when it didn't boot, holding power button to turn off and pressed it again to try and boot and it booted up fine. BUT NOW while playing a game it frequently freezes. SERIOUSLY, what the hell is going on?

OK, if no one can answer any of these questions, can someone ATLEAST tell me how much I should expect to get for this system if I should decide to sell it? I have spent whole weekends researching on here and on the internet in general. It stops working, then I limp it for a couple weeks and then its broken again. I spent $2200 on it in early 2014, and I'm not going to throw more money at it unless I have some direction or an idea of what it could be. Right now, its more of a PAIN IN THE ASS than its worth.

You will probably make about half of your money back, to 3/4s at least, those are still recent parts, and will rock for gaming. I hope you get the money it is worth, and am sorry to see you cannot solve the problem, have a good one

Oh, its AWESOME for gaming...when it works. I don't REALLY want to sell, but I'm so frustrated. I'm spending more time trying to figure out why is doesn't work than using it for what I wanted. And by the way, its not just for gaming, its supposed to be my media center, and project PC as well. Once again, I'm still spending my whole weekend researching this issue.
