Ok, so I built my first computer the other days for my mother and it's working just fine. However, yesterday my mother told me to put in a movie for to watch and the movie wouldn't play. I would go the "This PC" directory and see the DVD drive with the movie but it won't open. I've downloaded DVD apps but the problem would continue.

The drive can read dvd disc with information in it. For example, I put in a CD disk (yes, it also reads CDs) with songs I burned to the disk and it work just fine. I check sofware disks and it also works. I tried playing Godzilla, but the same problem happened.

I installed an LG Super Multi with M-Disk support OEM. Also, I bought it on Newegg.

Solution
Try installing VLC Media player. Windows 10 removes native DVD movie support and is now a paid feature. In VLC, just go to Open > Open Disc and see if you can get it going from there.

Thanks, it worked. Is there some way to set the autoplay? I tried to do it through the control panel but the software wouldn't appear in the options of autoplay.
