Bought SoM + season pass for 6$...I figured even if it's a scam it's worth the try. And I got the key and it activated on Steam, downloading it now.

But I'm wondering if it's ok to stop worrying now. Is it possible for the key to get revoked later on? I bought it from a seller with 99% positive feedback and he sold 10k+ items, with G2A shield on. But since the game was so cheap, I'm more concerned about keeping the game and my progress than getting a measly 6$ back.

So has anyone had bad experience with G2A after the game got activated? Like losing the game after playing for 30 days etc.

Thanks!

Solution
I've bought a few games from G2A, no problems yet and it's been months, years. Activated just fine. Haven't gotten a CDKEY banned or anything. I tend to play older games again and again. 1-5 year old games. So I would notice if the CD-key got banned.

Then ask yourself this....how does a private seller have 10,000+ items to sell?

hum interesting, but most of these are concerned with problems of activation. Mine activated just fine. The stories with uplay worry me more, since the games got revoked after successful activation & installation.
But since the buyer has good positive reviews, I would think that this hasn't happen to other buyers in the past. So maybe he's not a private seller, but a company.
Idk, hopefully it will work fine. I mean it's 6$, I think it was worth taking the risk if the thing is legit.
Thanks for the links

well it doesn't say it's G2A, and I haven't encounter the issue in the thread.
Bro I appreciate your effort to warn me of the potential dangers of buying from the grey market, but I'm not encountering any of these problems. The game is already activated and in my library, there was no problem with payment either.
