Hi,

I have some issues with my gaming rig. I have built it myself, and it worked like a charm for 3 years now. Suddenly it became weak in the only game I acutally play (Counter-Strike Global Offensive). Normal FPS in this game for this computer used to be 300 easy. But suddenly I struggle keeping it on 120 (which is the cap I normally set when I play.) It drops down to 80 and the hole game feels laggy.

Rig:

Mobo: Gigabyte Z87P-D3
CPU: Intel i5 4670K 3,4GHz
GPU: Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
RAM: Kingtston 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL9
SSD: Samsung EVO840 120GB

I took a test with 3D Mark, and both my CPU and GPU came out as it should, with the same result as the other testresults with the same components.

My GPU Load is only 43% during gaming. My CPU load is only at 40-50% during gaming.

Computer is running Windows 7, and I have tried a clean install, with fresh drivers and clean install of my game. Yet I cant seem to find the problem.

Every single help I can get will be appreciated.

Solution
Installed all latest drivers for the motherboard as well?
Looked if you have the latest bios?
Is XMP enable in the bios? Don't think this is the issue, but is good to do anyway.
Temps for the cpu/gpu are still fine? Can look this way,

Download hwinfo32,

http://www.hwinfo.com/download32.html

You can open hwinfo32,after that open the sensor window by checking sensors only,
after that click run
in this window both are present.

Thanks for feedback. It has been this in a pretty long time, so there has been several driversupdate on the hardware, but still problems. The temperatures is good, and the FPS is bad from start. So no temperature issues.

Thanks for feedback!
Temperatures is fine. Mobo is updated, but I`ll try a update on the bios.
