Can someone please explain Bitcoin miner cards and how they work? They sound like something i would consider buying as long as they are what i think they are. Also can you please recommend one.

If it were that easy, we'd all be doing it.

"A certain rate" = less than the electricity needed to run it.
The days of mining bitcoin via a GPU on a home PC are long past. The complexity is too hard.
