here is the list for my rig -----> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kNgbFT

its my first time building a PC. i was secure that all of components were okay, but then my friend told me that my rig wouldn't work. He specifically was referring to the PSU. He said my PC would get too hot. Apparently the PSU i chose for my PC was not the right PSU. he said to invest in a water cooling case.i am planning on overclocking the CPU but not right after i build it, and if I do overclock i am getting either a Corsair water cooling kit or a better fan. I am also concerned about the right wattage. According to this cooler master watt calculator, my PC would need 410 watts, not including the case's fans, and peripherals. I thought a 750 watts PSU would be the best, but still i am very big newbie. i am still somehow lost with the whole bronze, gold and silver versions of PSUs. also i am still deciding whether to get a semi modular or a full modular. is the PSU in my components list the right PSU to run my PC components?

Thank you in advance c: xx

also I am sorry for sounding ignorant, i am not enlightened on this topic.

550W will do the job fine in your rig, but, looking at your CPU (k version) and the motherboard (z) seems you want to OC, so 750W will do plenty fine everything.

Now, if you want to OC, i recommend you pick a cpu cooler fan, you can go for H80i, H100i or , a simple evo 212.

Note: Again, the system will work, i'm only recommending you a CPU cooler if you want to OC.

About choosing PSU, here is the bible: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Ask if you still have troubles/questions. Enjoy the building!

750W is far more than you will need and I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you plan on SLI in the future. Remember that your PC will actually be IDLE (consuming well under 100W) most of the time (unless you're a pro-gamer or do a lot of rendering etc) so getting anything significantly bigger than what your PC requires at 100% load will pointlessly consume electricity. 550W is plenty big (you definitely do want some headroom for noise/heat if nothing else, although a quality PSU can be safely run at 90-100% load), even taking OCing into account. Something from Tier 1 in the 550-600W range is what I'd go for:
