Hey all. Strange problem i am running into.

PC is running windows 10 fresh install. Brand new GTX950.

Computer has been randomly Freezing. I can replicate the freezing when doing anything high intensity. IE playing excom2.

What i have completed so far:
Tested Ram = Good
Tested PSU = Good
Tested 2nd Drive (original steam data location) = Good
SMART tests done on both drive = Good

I am running out of ideas hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

So I did some more testing. where i am at now:
Swapped Ram = Still freezes
Swapped PSU = Still freezes
Swapped HDD's = Still freezes
New video Card. Computer still froze before new card.
New OS install with all new drivers.

So at this point it HAS to be Mobo or CPU. Just not sure how to test that. I am using an AMD 6300. Also one think i did notice is my mouse (optical) light dies when the PC freeses making me lean towards a Mobo issue.

Any ideas will help a lot

Thanks.

Interesting, the only real way you can test if it is the mobo or CPU is by finding a CPU of the same socket and try it in your rig.

Yeah i dont have anything extra to test with. Puts me in a shitty place. last think i wanna do is buy a new board just to fine out its not the issue.

Have you tried a CPU stress test? They usually show you if the CPU produces any errors while testing. Have you checked your CPU temps by the way? I thought I already asked you to but it looks like I didn't.
