I have 2 500gb hard drives. A seagate and a WD drive, on the seagate one i have about 300gb of space occupied, has games photos, documents, etc., has windows 7. the WD one is almost full of unused space, also has w7. right now my main drive is the seagate one and i still have some space on there, but eventually i will need more, and i was thinking, could i hook up BOTH hdd's at the same time, having the space of both drives, and booting off of the seagate one?
What i imagine it being is opening "my computer" and having 4 seperate icons for storage each 250gb each. Now i don't know if this is a particular raid setup, or just plain impossible of what i have in mind. Thanks!

Are you using both drives currently? My suggestion would be to remove Windows 7 from the WD drive and move all your images, documents, and videos to it. On the Seagate drive, have Windows 7, your programs, and games. I don't see the need to divide up your drives into 250 GB blocks, and it reduces the efficiency of the mechanical drives. If you right click on Documents, Videos, or Pictures and choose properties, you can choose where you want new ones to be stored, i.e. what drive location. It may be a bit different in Windows 7, but you should be able to do it.

i'm using 1 of the drives, and how do i remove windows completely from a drive? and both of these drives came with 2 partitions of 250gb each, it was just what i imagined seeing of both of them hooked up

Is there enough room to move everything temporarily to one drive, except for Windows 7? If so, do that and then format the drive from which everything was removed. Make sure that you format the correct drive! After it's formatted, move all the photos, videos, and documents to it.
