Hey guys!

I have pretty old motherboard, an ASUS RoG Maximus VI Formula to be exact, and me now having Windows 10 I can't find a way to even download and go through the setup of having AI Suite 3.

I know, sort of an outdated question but it seems like NO ONE is having the same problem as me!!

So yea, it would be greatly appreciated if someone could answer, please.

Thank you!

Solution
That board does not support AI suite on windows 10 in any way or form.

Download the version for windows 8.1x 64.
Unzip or unrar to a folder.
Go to the folder created, enter it.
Right click on the AI suite install setup file, and go to properties from the pull down menu.

Tick the run as admin check box.
Select the compatibility tab.
and tick the run in compatibility mode check box.
Select windows 8 or 8.1.

Click on apply, then ok.
Right click again on the Ai suite install icon, and run as an admin.
It should then install without failing to launch.

No that wouldn't work. The problem is that when you go to their support page, choose Windows 10 64 bit, and then Utilities ( http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VI_FORMULA/HelpDesk_Download/ ) AI Suite 3 is nowhere to be found. I even tried using a Windows 7/8/8.1 download by choosing another OS and that still didn't work.

This motherboard was actually given to me at a steal price of $100 flat from my friend. That being said, he *mighttt* have the disk? idk. If not, what are my other options?

That is pretty much your only option. If not, read through some other forums, or download AI suite from other sites (which I personally would not suggest)
But that's pretty much it.

Extract the zip to your desktop and click setup again and see what happens.

Sorry man, guess you'll have to install windows 8 or 7. :/

weird, I'm running asus AI suite 3.0 just fine on windows 10 with my Asus Maximus VI Gene a z87 MB like yours. I don't know what people are talking about it being "incompatible" with windows 10 generally if something is compatible with windows 8.1 it's compatible with windows 10. try the windows 8.1 download.

Also with the Z87 chipset and Win10-Pro, I couldn't control the speed of the fans without the "Al suite 3", so I installed the version for Windows 8.1, but I only enabled the components:
-System information.
-Thermal Radar 2.

The functions that i wanted of the "Al suite 3" are working fine!

P.s. Do not enable other components because you will lock the WIN10-Pro.

For me it doesn't show the Thermal radar when trying to install
