Complete overkill for gaming. No one needs a $500 motherboard!
I5 6600k, z170 Asus motherboard, 16gb ddr4 ram, seasonic/antec/evga 650w power supply and a 980ti will do you fine. You can overclock that cpu so get something like a cryorig h7 cooler. Id go 250gb samsung 850 evo SSD for windows and games.
Don't have time to do a partpicker right now.

Well its totally up to you! I'm just saying that a pc with a decent i5 and motherboard for 150$ will perform the same with the same graphics card. For gaming you are throwing money away.
