i just purchased a asus m52bc pc from bestbuy. i figured id start with some ram... well i purchased pny 32gb dual channel memory ddr3 pc3-14900 1866mhz cas10 1.5v (4x8gb sticks)
i tried going online to find out specs about my pc and memory issues but cant find any info. i put all 4 sticks in and when i start the pc it shows the asus logo and the loading circle that spins just freezes and thats it... i have to manually power down and tried it several times.
i then pulled out 2 of the sticks so that there was 16gb in there and it started but it read as single channel and was only showing it as somthing like 520mhz. im lost, im pretty good with pcs but dont understand this and or what to do. i dont know if this matters but the mother board only suports 1600mhz and the new ram says its for up to 1866mhz.
any help will be greatly apriciated....thanks

Asus M52BC supports 32 GB Max ( 4 x 8 GB) 1600 MHz.

1866 MHz won't be compatible with your system. I would suggest going for replacement and ask the vendor for the 1600 MHz memory instead. One last attempt before going for exchange, would be to try downclocking in BIOS to 1600 MHz if that helps.

Refer this link as guide for the memory exchange:
