Ever since I upgraded to my AMD R7 260 over a year ago from my old GT610, I have been unable to get HDMI out of the card to my own TV. This PC works over HDMI on other tv's, and the tv works with other HDMI outputs(my Xbox 360). I have tried DVI to HDMI adopters(didn't work) and I have tried switching back to my gt610 briefly(it worked, played games horribly). Up to this point I have been using a dvi to vga adapter, and when hooked up to my 1080p screen, it looks wiered and squished. This hadn't bothered me too much but as I will be buying a gtx 970 in March, I would very much like to get 1080p out of it! Any help would be greatly appreciated, and if you require any more info I can probably give it to you. Thanks!

I didn't do a clean install at the time, however I have done one since due to an unrelated Windows-10-having-a-spasm issue. I have also had a CPU change with no affect. The original fx4300 I had had (<thanks English) no integrated gpu, and my new i7 has had it disabled. And yes the old nvidias drivers have been removed. As my issue is isolated to my screen, I was wondering whether it was refresh rate related, or something along those lines.
