Is it ok to leave the cables plugged in the GPU and outlet if the monitor is no longer connected?

Hi guys,
So i have a triple display setup, and because of a problem and it was only solvable if I removed the weakest of the three (1366x768). But I don't wish to go to all the hassle of removing the VGA cable and the power supply cable of the monitor, as I also made some cable management and I may need to re install it in the future! Are there any disadvantages like wear of the GPU or extra power usage if left plugged in but without completing a connection?
Thank you!

You can leave the cables plugged in yeah. Without them plugged into the monitor they remain as open electrical circuits, so electricity doesn't pass through them. In fact the GPU won't even be able to tell there's a cable plugged in if you disconnect it from the monitor.
