My computer always loses connection but my phone and ipad etc. dont.

Hello! When I'm on my computer, I lose internet connection for around a minute randomly, and then it reconnects. When I lose connection to my computer, I check to see if it works on my IPhone and IPad, and it does. Their is something wrong with my computer and I'm not quite sure what it is. I'm sure it is not a dust problem because I just cleaned it out. If you have any suggestions please let me know, Thanks! Have a wonderful day/night! :bounce:

it could be a cordless or cellular phone getting a call and interrupting the service because it's on the same frequency as the wireless... or you could have a faulty card, is this a desktop or laptop. and what type of adapter is it (built in, usb, pci card, etc)? You could also be near the edge of the computer's effective range from the wireless router.

My computer is not far from where the internet is coming from. This is a desktop running windows 10. Sorry I don't know much about computers, is this what you are talking about by adapter?
Built-in high-speed wireless LAN (802.11a/b/g/n. There are USB ports around my computer if that's what you are talking about.

the mini pcie have acted up on me, as have some of the cheaper usb ones.

you could try one of these ( i use them for refurbished builds given to friends/family) http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-Wireless-Dual-Band-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B006CQR7CK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456762778&sr=8-1&keywords=cisco+usb+wireless+adapter and see if that fixes it.
