Hey. This problem started after my GPU died and I was forced to use the integrated graphics.
I'm not sure how to explain it properly, but let's say when using Intel HD Graphics, a black line appears at the side of the screen, pushing off the rest of the screen off monitor, if that makes sense.
At first I thought it's just because it wasn't compatible with Windows 10, but I installed a SSD and tried it on Win7, only to get the same result.
I tried searching around for a while, but found nothing that could fix the problem. I hope someone out here will shed some light on this.

I read the thread again. (Before you do 1 and 2 read it all and preferably do the third one" Also what is the native Screen Resolution of your monitor and what resolution it is set on?
1)Your GPU died. Do you have your monitor connected to the dead GPU or on to the onboard graphics?
2)If not, can you please tell me your CPU and motherboard please?

So that means there'a a partial part that's "pushed off" the screen, are you sure it isn't just a monitor thingy? Try to get the monitor settings to "move" the black line horizontally, you know what I mean? I remember I had a monitor where there was a black line to the...

Are you sure you're using the Onboard graphics? Are you sure you've installed the "right" intel hd graphics that matches the CPU?

After checking those you can also try disabling the INTEL HD GRAPHICS then enabling it, see if that works

Thanks for answering!

I let Windows Update do it's thing, so I'm sure it should be the right graphics.
Right now I just tried disabling and enabling, but the problem persists. :(

I remember I had a monitor where there was a black line to the side and a part of the "image" is like pushed off or cropped or just "not there" So I just went into the monitor settings and "positioned" the screen horizontally until the black line is no more and everything was fine. I did it through the monitor buttons itself as of course, we have no remote controls for pc monitors or maybe there is and I don't know about its existence
