Yes you read the the title correctly.
My question is can I transfer everything from the SSD to a regular HDD.
Basically I have a 250gb SSD in my desktop computer that i want to put in my laptop. However if possible i would like to not loose any of the data nor do i want to reinstall Winodws. I know there are tools that migrate to an SSD but I dont know if it does the reverse.

The three criteria we generally use to determine if a data-migration (disk-cloning) operation should be undertaken is as follows:
1. Does your present system function without any problems in that the system boots without incident and thereafter functions trouble-free?
2. Are you comfortable enough with your present system that you would have no qualms in having what amounts to a bit-for-bit copy of that system transferred to the destination drive?
3. Is the disk-capacity of the new disk sufficient to contain the total contents of the drive that you would like to transfer?

Since it appears from the info in your query that you would answer "yes" to all the above I would see no reason why you should not utilize a data-migration...

I would recommend first doing a clean windows instillation on your HHD to avoid any conflicts, then you can migrate all your data and information over onto the drive. The easiest way would be to partition the HDD, 1 part of it to the OS and OS FILES then the rest to your normal data and what not.
this also helps avoid issues in the future and problems with driver conflicts and OS.

As far as driver clonflicts there's shouldn't be any because both hard drive are in the same computer. Right now the boot drive is the ssd I want to put everything on the regular HDD. And remove the ssd from the system I have a lot of steam games and no internet connection to redownload them. I'm posting from my phone.
