I get fps drops from 60 to 5 after 10 minutes of gameplay, then it returns to normal, but after 10 minutes it drops again. This has been happening for a while and it started to get super annoying. Internet browsing is completely fine but once I start playing games my computer gets really unbearable. I recently cleaned out the dust and dirt in the computer, but it actually made my problem worst. Help please.

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz

My graphics card reach 100 C even when idle, and my CPU stays a steady 40-50 all times.

Solution
your GPU is thermal throttling to make sure it does not get damaged. You need to reseat the sinks and cooler on your GPU, replace the existing thermal paste/pads. your computer will only get worse unless your get your GPU temp to below 70C.

I would even recommend just getting a new GPU, 100C may have already caused damage to existing components in your GPU.
