Hello everyone, :)
Can you help me decide which is better from the following cards:

Gainward GeForce GTX 980 Phantom - 647$ (Unfortunately, graphics cards are pricey in my country. 980 ti would cost me somewhere around 870$)
~or~
Palit GeForce GTX 980 Jetstream - 655$ (Not the Super Jetstream version)

Solution
Ha ha, they are exactly one and the same company.

You just need to decide if you like the Phantom or Jetstream cooler better. After doing some research myself, it's pretty close and the Phantom cooler is very unique. You would be happy with either. I would put my vote with the Patlit Jetstream, as it seems to tick off all the positives, including the "zero dB" fans that turn off until you start gaming.

Gainward Phantom:

Palit Super Jetstream (same as the Jetstream, but with faster clocks):

Gainward's 980 Phantom seem to have a higher clockspeeds than Palit's 980 JetStream. Do you think that would matter much?

Exactly, you can overclock the difference, which is like 15 MHz, can't remember, (but I did look it up about 15 minutes ago). More importantly, you might not have to overclock to difference, since the Palit Jetstream generally had cooler temperatures, slightly. That should lead to higher Turbo Boost clocks, automatically.

As I mentioned, I would recommend either, with only a slight edge to the Palit Jetstream. I like the zero dB fans and the potential for a little bit cooler temperatures with higher boost clocks.
