What would you change about this build?

Solution
The PSU difference is not much, but it saves a few bucks while maintaining quality. And the motherboard is cheaper without sacrificing much. If you care for the USB slots... Get a case with that much USBs, I guess?

Thanks for the advice. so a lower PSU is fine for this? Also why would you choose that mobu instead? I don't really know much about mobo's but i liked how many usb slots that one had lol.

I would go for this. I changed the HDD to an hybrid drive which gives you a little more speed for not much more price. Also changed the ram to the ripjaws V (better CAS latency). WWent for a cheaper cooler and, in my opinion also similar if not better performance. Different MOBO foa a better price/performance.
My question is what's the purpose of this build?

The purpose is strictly for gaming, but i also want to eventually get the oculus rift and be able to support it with this build. Meaning if i want to upgrade it in the future to support rift better, i will be able to.

Well, I don't really know if it's more futureproof or not. I just think that it's a better mobo for the money you are spending. Also, if your system is for gaming I would probably recommend to go for 16 GB RAM. I'm not an expert, I'm just giving my opinion on this, keep it in mind.
