An fx 8320 with gtx 960 or an i5-4460 with gtx 950 at 768p resolution and 8 gigs of ram. What system will be more future proof?

fx 8320 with gtx 960. It's all about the GPU when gaming.

Neither is future proof. Haswell is already obsolete, and Socket AM3+ will be by the end of the year. But that's PC gaming for you!

I disagree, LGA1150 is already obsolete. If you buy an LGA1150 processor today there's basically no future upgrade path from it. If we were talking LGA1151 / Skylake then it would be a different matter.

How is there no upgrade path? You can get 4770's at lower prices in ebay.
