im asking this here instead so maybe i have a better chance getting help

the manual says to connect the wifi antenna cables to the wifi module ant the other end of the antenna cables to the i/o plate which is way across the MB. also i see nowhere on the i/o plate to connect the wifi antenna cables or the antenna on the outside. do i have the wrong plate? even if i do the antenna cables wouldn't be able to reach the i/o area... unless the manual refers to some other i/o plate thats missing from my box?

here is the manual, page 15

Yes you poke out the space for the antennas. That is where you place the wifi antennas.

It's just to confirm what you have.
There should be three circles that are for wifi antennas after the audio ports on the i/o plate. The wifi module is not that far from the wifi antennas and oy should have enough length of cable.

yea i see the 3 circles.. do i poke holes in there or what. the manual doesn't say so and it also looks different than mines. the 3 circles are solid and are right on the end of the plate so yea the cables can reach to there. there in a vertical line where as the pic in the manual looks horizontal. there no hole for inserting anything
