I gunghoed it put my entire desciption into my question sorry just so frustrated so recap.have sony vaio notebook i5 vpcz112gx reasons unknown wifi adapter went mia then so did built in wifo switch both reappeared however os dissppeared

Do you already have your own data files backed up to another storage device?

There wasn't any data on there that I needed I deleted all the personal data from the previous owner.was fixing to switch from windows 7 pro to windows7 ultimate as its my prefrence as I'm familiar with it more.never got the chance hence the wifi adapter wifi switch and finally the os

Go for Factory Recovery then.

Please note that Factory Recovery relies on the HDD Recovery volume being intact, and will not fix any issues caused by faulty hardware.
