side note-but i never taken off cpu fan just incase you need to know
Thank you for checking this out :)

sorry but this isn't useull, but yeah if it turns out to be a bad psu like the corsair cx under high load gaming it can cause some serious damage to your components, or the psu blows up what happened to someone today.

furthermore building a pc is not that hard , we had people that couldn't build ikea furniture that managed to do it.
it took them a long time yes 15 hours but they did it.
You get way more bang for your buck .

Since this is a "store" bought model opening it may void the warranty. I wouldn't worry about a problem with your power supply until you actually have a problem with your power supply. Just use the system as is and if an issue develops then you have to address it with the manufacturer while it is under warranty. Once out of warranty you can put another brand power supply in the computer if you need or want to.

That is true thanks for reminding me! anyway you can share your thought or experience of this occurring with these power supply's?

I'm sorry the last PC I bought from a reseller was a 286 back in the 80s, I build all my own and my families PCs from scratch with good quality parts I know and trust. I also tend to use the same base parts for all the family PCs I build so if there is an issue I know what is in the PC.

From the description of parts you listed I don't see a brand or model number listed for the PS so I'm not sure what you are getting.

The PSU that you've linked to, has a maximum of 56x12watts on the 12v rails that's 672 watts. Good PSUs always have nearly all of their power available as 12v power, so that should be much closer to 800w. So at first glance that PSU is not likely to be great, will it do for a single 970 plus other bits, yes, but don't sli on it. For reference a 970 plus system will probably Max out at 400w from the wall, so it'll be OK.

SO IT WONT BLOW UP? LOL

With that level of load I'd be fairly happy, but you'll need to keep the PSU cool enough, they won't be stupid enough to put something in that will fail 'as configured' hence the oversized nature of it. But the moment you put more load on it, it will be at greater risk of going, and they'll simply claim that you modified it, and it's not their problem.

It will need updating before you touch anything else though.

To others reading this, the only reason I am comfortable is that the PSU would have to be incapable providing even 50% of it's rated power to get close to failing, and it can't be that bad, else the company wouldn't risk installing it, the warranty issues alone would shut them down. It's rated for 672W, 350W would be a reasonable power output (not input) required for that system, so about 400W input. So there's enough overhead even if it is incapable of it's ratings. If it were only rated for 500, and in the same situation i'd say don't touch it.

Yeah because if i change the PSU It voids the warranty so im going with keeping it in
